Grosvenor Business Solutions approaches every new initiative in the same methodical way. We spend significant time at the outset exploring your business issues with an investigative mindset. The goal is to identify both the obvious and the hidden causes that are contributing to sub-optimal performance. This process often includes interviews with a wide range of personnel as a way to gain a comprehensive perspective.
It is quite often the case that varying views exist as to the root cause of the problem or problems. And it is also fairly typical for these views to be expressed without hard data to substantiate what is being said. Our answer is to prepare a 'fact book' that provides supporting evidence from which we draw our conclusions. Most companies have more relevant data than they realise and are often surprised at the clarity that is gained by the simple exercise of bringing it all together.
Once this data gathering step is completed, we conduct a thorough analysis and report back on what we have learned. We prepare a 'findings document' that identifies the critical issues and suggests a way forward. The findings document indicates our assessment of the relative order of priority for each action but also provides an opportunity for you to register you own sense of priority.
With a prioritised findings document as our guide, we produce a formal proposal that provides detailed tasks and estimates of the time and resources required to implement the desired outcomes.
